Hermes

Hermes, a new non-invasive smart shoe, being developed by researchers from UCLA's ER and Ascent Lab. This lightweight smart shoe and its supporting infrastructure is aimed at extending fall risk analysis and human balance monitoring outside of a laboratory environment. We do this by combining embedded sensing, signal processing and modeling techniques to create a scientific tool capable of quantifying high-level measures. The
